Moms - and grandmothers too - work hard to help everyone every day of the year! What better way to send a heartfelt "thank you" then with a classic, yummy brunch–or even a decadent breakfast in bed?
Since every mom is different, here are four time-tested bagel brunch ideas for your consideration.
The Classic Bagel Brunch

Slice and lightly toast a plain New Yorker bagel

Coat both sides with a quality cream cheese

Add sliced nova lox (2-3 thin-sliced pieces)

Add a few slices of fresh red onion

Optional twist: top with a few capers

Place the bagel back together, slice in half
Breakfast Mode Brunch

Create a fluffy, one-egg omelet using whatever method you prefer

Cook 3-4 slices of bacon or turkey bacon (microwave is fine!)

Lightly toast a Garlic New Yorker bagel

On one side, add a thin slice of American or cheddar cheese (really, any cheese you like!)

Add the egg and bacon to one side of the bagel
