WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR, WATER, UNBLEACHED UNBROMATED ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), RYE PUMPERNICKLE FLOUR, BROWN SUGAR, MALT SYRUP, contains 2% or less of each of the following: CARAMEL COLOR, SEA SALT, CARAWAY SEEDS, YEAST, RAISIN JUICE CONCENTRATE, MALT POWDER, MOLASSES POWDER, SOYBEAN OIL, WHEAT GLUTEN, ASCORBIC ACID, ENZYMES.
Allergen Statement
New Yorker Bagels is not a certified nut free environment, although none of our products contain any nuts. Residual nut contamination from our ingredient supplies is possible, though unlikely.
The only common allergens that are present in our products are wheat and sesame. All of our bagels contain wheat.
Vegan Statement
None of our bagels contain animal products - they are 100% Vegan.
It is amazing that a bagel can be shipped across the country and the quality still be so perfect. I split the bagel in half (which are huge) and toasted in a regular toaster and it turned out perfectly. These bagels are not tough and chewey but with perfect texture and the flavor is excellent. So glad I decided to give these a try. My only negative is that I wish that they would deliver to my PO Box. No problem in the winter for delivery to my street address but would be a problem here in the desert in the summer not being able to pick it up right away.
If you like rye bread, give these a try. Sooo good. From the fragrance when these bagels are popped warm from the oven, to the wonderful bagel-all-the-way chewy outside, soft and pillowy inside these are a home run!
I slice them and wrap them in Press & Seal plastic wrap place them in the freezer. Take one out each evening and leave out to defrost, toast in morning with either butter or cream cheese spread. Yum!
