While some may think the Plain Bagel is boring, to the purist there is none better. A hand-rolled, fresh plain bagel baked by New Yorker Bagels has some attributes that take it from ordinary to something you absolutely adore sinking your teeth into.
This classic Plain Bagel has a lovely golden crust, shiny and hard on the surface, with a glossy appearance unmarred by any topping. Anything that is added to a plain bagel automatically removes its claim to the name, “plain!”
Our Plain Bagel is just soft enough to tear into with your teeth, the crust giving way to a well-risen inside that is chewy without being tough. This is a real New York bagel, not a soft, French bread-like substitute that is often sold in grocery stores or other parts of the country!

UNBLEACHED UNBROMATED ENRICHED WHEAT FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, MALTED BARLEY FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE, RIBOFLAVIN, FOLIC ACID), WATER, BROWN SUGAR, MALT SYRUP, contains 2% or less of each of the following: SEA SALT, YEAST, RAISIN JUICE CONCENTRATE, MALT POWDER, MOLASSES POWDER, SOYBEAN OIL, WHEAT GLUTEN, ASCORBIC ACID, ENZYMES.
Allergen Statement
New Yorker Bagels is not a certified nut free environment, although none of our products contain any nuts. Residual nut contamination from our ingredient supplies is possible, though unlikely.
The only common allergens that are present in our products are wheat and sesame. All of our bagels contain wheat.
Vegan Statement
None of our bagels contain animal products - they are 100% Vegan.
The plain bagels were delicious !! I cut the bagel in half after defrosting it and baking it then I toast it and put cream cheese on it. Great breakfast !
Hand-rolled? Too uniform to have come out of anything but a machine. Bland. Will not order again.
