Our fresh onion Bialys are similar to Bagels, except that they are baked, not kettle-boiled. This creates a flatter, denser style of dough, with the Bialys' famous depression in the center, which our bakers fill with flavorful garlic and onion prior to baking.

I get two dozen bialys every 4 weeks, The most recent shipment had almost no onions on the bialys. Either we have an onion shortage or the onion person needs additional training. I consider this an anomaly - the product is usually spot on.

They were good that they did not meet expectations with the onion to dough ratio
They were great in color and freshness. Just not a lot of taste, pretty bland. Onions baked in the dough would be amazing!
