Perfect in more ways than one. I left down state NY in 1977. I've never found the perfect NY bagel until now. That's 49 years!
I had to eat one straight from the package with pats of butter - yummy. I promptly froze the rest.

Both the garlic and the dough were fresh; great for pastrami sandwiches, breakfast or just eat raw. They arrived in two bags, 6 in each. I recommend freezing 6. New York bagels like NY pizza are excellent due to the water. Dont be fooled by NY Style; buy only fresh genuine NY bagels
Garlic Bagels
They are very tasty , but there was alot of moisture in the bags , which made the garlic come off in my hand when I touched them.

A bit of moisture in the bags is actually normal due to the freshness and natural moisture content of the bagels. We’ve tested many ways of shipping and found that BPA-free plastic sleeves are the best way to keep them soft and fresh during transit. If you’d like to reduce condensation, we recommend opening the bags for 10–15 minutes when they arrive to let them air out before freezing, or squeezing out extra air before placing them in the freezer. This helps minimize moisture and keeps toppings like garlic crispier. We really appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you loved the taste!
