Egg Bagels

I was disappointed when I received the egg bagels. I expected a product that was made with real eggs and what i got was a product made with a lot of ingredients to make it look like real eggs in color. Also -the texture of the product was really no better than bagels sold in grocery stores in the bread section.
Edible - yes, great No.

Dear Arthur,
Thank you for your feedback! We understand that traditional egg bagels are made with real eggs, but since we’re a completely dairy-free bakery, we use a high-quality vegan egg substitute to maintain the texture and flavor while keeping our products accessible to those with dietary restrictions. We’re sorry if this wasn’t what you expected, but we truly appreciate you giving our bagels a try! If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re happy to help, just reach out to our friendly customer service department here: fresh-baked@newyorkerbagels.com.

Not what I was hoping for.

I love egg bagels have since I was a little girl. One of the most important things I remember was the chew of a great egg bagel. Sadly this does not have any chew at all. I tried it toasted and just room temperature. The satisfying chew of having to really get your teeth in there and take a bite is just lacking. I won’t be buying these again. I guess back to the cooking board for me, still trying to perfect that egg bagel in my own home kitchen. Ah well it was worth a shot.

Hi Cheryl,
