The relief is palpable!
I was right. I thought maybe my palate was changing but no. None of the bagels you can get out here in Tucson were doing it for me. Finally I decided to orders bagels from NY (are they actually from NY? I mean they are called New Yorker so I will assume yes) and omg the taste and the texture were both there! I love them with cream cheese, capers, tomato, red onion and smoked rainbow trout…. Or in place of bread for anything else. Had to freeze a bunch of them because I live alone but they are so good!

My marble Rye and everything bagel were everything you want in a bagel toasted with cream cheese and salmon Soft and chewy and full of flavor. Real bagel texture, not bread-like. Excellent worth the splurge. Do you have a bagel of the month club????
