    The Best Bagels Ever!

    I accidentally got our entire family hooked on these amazing bagels when my husband and I spent a week in NYC. I was looking for a bakery that would ship bagels to the Los Angeles area where we lived but none of the stores would do this. I then googled "Bagels that can be shipped anywhere" and newyorkerbagels.com came up. I wasn't expecting much but regardless they would still be a nice NYC souvenir for family members. I ordered some for us and when we got home we tried them out. The flavor, texture and freshness just blew us away! We are still eating them with our family's favorite being the Everything Bagel. I toasted one for my husband just a few days ago (May 4, 2026), and my husband said that the bagel I fixed him was "the best he has ever had." This is a true statement. I also wanted to note that our youngest son was accepted to the FAA Air Traffic Controller Academy (ATC) in Oklahoma City, OK late last year. I decided to send him some bagels as a care package and he LOVED them. Even though free breakfast was provided every day by his hotel, he preferred fixing himself a bagel using the toaster in the small kitchenette in his room. It made him feel so loved and like he was right back at home. The FAA ATC is very difficult and only a small percentage of applicants are asked to come, and many of them cannot keep up with the Academy's rigid standards and drop out. Our son, however, just loved it and actually graduated #1 in his class! He is just brilliant but I feel like the bagels I sent helped him achieve his career goals!
